Three volumes of four, each complete in itself. Concerned with ancient history. The first edition. In the original French. Rebound in uniform cloth, complete with half titles.
Text by Rene Menard. With numerous illustrations in text by Cl Sauvageot after ancient monuments.
Volume I concerned with the people of antiquity; Volume II with families in antiquity; Volume III with labour in antiquity.
CONDITION
Rebound in uniform full cloth, new endpapers. Externally lovely. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean with age toning and browning, as usual with the type of paper used.
